Welcome to the Grassland Ecology Lab (Tim Dickson Ph.D., Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator) at the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) Biology Department. We primarily focus on the causes of plant diversity patterns in grasslands, the effects of plant diversity on biomass production and other ecosystem services, and methods to conserve and restore species.  For those students interested in working in the lab or completing a master’s degree, please explore the “Research” section of the webpage for more information about becoming part of the lab.
